About the International Cybersecurity Olympiads
The International Cybersecurity Olympiads (ICO) is a global competition designed to inspire, recognize, and connect the next generation of cybersecurity talent from around the world.
ICO was founded in 2025 by Prof. Tan Sun Teck in Singapore, with the vision of creating an international platform where talented students can challenge themselves on advanced cybersecurity challenges while learning from each other and from leading experts in the field.
The inaugural edition of the Olympiads was proudly hosted by the National University of Singapore (NUS) in Singapore, bringing together teams from multiple countries to compete in a series of rigorous, research-inspired cybersecurity challenges.
Building on the spirit of other international science and informatics olympiads, ICO aims to promote excellence in cybersecurity education, foster international collaboration, and encourage young people to pursue careers dedicated to securing our digital future.
